Default 2011 2500 HD help

hi kids. I am working on a 11 2500hd 6.0 truck and put some e-fans on it. Factory harness and such installed. Tried for some time last night to get the fans to come on through the ecm, no luck. Any one done this swap, or willing to help out?!?!

I assume you have EFI Live or HP Tuners? You have to find a fan table from a 1/2 ton truck and put it in the tune file. That's what Blackbear told me they had to do to program the fans on my '10 Suburban 2500.

Did you make sure the ECM is pinned correctly and the relays and fuses are all in place? Should be one 40a fuse per fan and two relays IIRC.

By the way, where did you snag a factory fan harness from? I'm about at the point where I will have to pull one from a newer 1500 junk yard truck to replace this Nelson Harness.

The trigger is already set in the ecm itself using HPT. everything is done tune wise for this damn thing aside from the fan setup.

The harness came from the dealer, fans were from a denali. The harness was a plug n play setup. Just need to check the pin setup now to be sure. Would anyone have any idea what the e78 pin out if for the fan trigger?

apparently it is pin 17 or pin 58. Need to probe it to find out for sure.

It has 2 pins for the ECM. I think you are correct on 17 and 58. One is for high speed the other for low speed.
Do you know or have the part number for the fan harness? That is like a unicorn for me, can't seem to find just a fan harness anywhere that isn't aftermarket.
