one thing that concerns me...So buying rings was an adventure..i settled on a set of Hastings. I wanted Mahle but i wouldve had to wait like 2 weeks. Anyway i just measured the ring gaps and im getting .023 for top ring and .018 for second ring..im just gonna run them.lkke that
Boost likes loose rings. It's cool that they sent you loose ones. I forget the numbers exactly but Wiseco says something .025 and .02 for their forged slugs, and you're right there. Mint.

Captains log: I have succsessfully installed the front and rear covers and also the harmonic balancer..A torch was used to heat it up a bit and it slid right on..tested this method on an old front seal first to see if it would damage it..everything looked good so i proceeded.. Finally some progress after weeks of ordering parts..i get a night to myself to listen to music and build my motor..life is grand..
