Default 02 duramax

hey guys my friend just bought a 02 rclb 4x4 duramax 6speed manual there is a pretty loud ticking noise comeing from the front pass side of the engine anybody eles have this?? also anyboady have anything to say about the 6 speed manual?

o yea its a really loud ticking noise not like any other duramax ive ever heard

i doubt he'll like the manual in the diesel the 6speed manuals in hds dont like to be shifted fast anyways and the diesel makes it worse

yea i drove it yeasurday it was fun as hell to drive but it is hard to race it below about 50 mph
