Default 02 2500hd steering box wont move!

Ok guys heres the deal I finally got around to getting a new steering box for my 2002 250hhd 6.0l chevy due to the notorious steering play in it. I finished it up last night and had to get some more fluid after work today. Filled her up got in for a test ride put it in reverse and i literally cant move the steering wheel at all. I went from tons of play to zero play lol. I'm sort of at a loss on what I did wrong on this install. It all looked straight forward. Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated so I can get this thing back on the road!

thanks

Sounds like you will be taking it apart again.

Not what I wanted to hear! Would it have been something I hooked up wrong or the box itself? I have herd bad things on steering boxes getting replaced then having to take them out multiple times and return until they can get one that actually works.

Well a quick update went out messed with it a bit started her up and it moved fine. not sure if I just didn't give it enough time for the fluid to get the air bubbles out or what. I will run it around a bit more tomorrow and see but it still has that loose steering that I was hoping this would take care of.
