1999 Silverado RCSB 6.0
1999 Chevrolet Silverado 1500. New Price $2200

Originally a Missouri truck. As you can see from the pictures there is rust on the cab corners/rockers and box. Clear coat is flaking on some of body panels and paint on rear bumper. Shaved tailgate. DJM 2 inch drop shackles and C-notch(was previously lowered). The interior is in good shape. Manual windows and locks. I have a center console from a Tahoe in right now but also have the original seat if you prefer that.
There is a 2001 6.0 that was swapped into the truck last year. Engine has some noise. Sounds like a lower end knock of some sort. Has been doing it since I swapped the engine. I had bought it from a junkyard but unfortunately didn't get it swapped in time for the 30 day warranty. Was said to have 130k. Knock sensor code gets thrown when truck is driven at 70+ mph.
Transmission shifts fine although it will occasionally come out of overdrive on the highway. Sometimes it takes 30 miles, other times it happens after a few miles of driving. Feels like tcc unlocking. There has been a few brand new parts put in recently, fuel pump, fuel filter, battery, front brakes.
Truck does not have A.C. I left all parts off during the swap since I rarely ever used it. EGR delete. Borla muffler that is dumped under the bed. Tires aren't very good but would be OK to drive on for awhile.
This would make a great truck for someone willing to put in some time. Other than the engine/trans issues it drives very solid.
