5.3L to LS6 engine swap

I have a 00 ecsb silverado and I am thinking of intalling a LS6 engine and a few other mods like a cam and a 150 shot. Just wondering if anyone else has done this and if so how much of a gain it was.

I put a LS6 in my truck it made right at 300rwhp after the TEA 2.5 heads and a 220/220 cam she made 375rwhp and about 385ftbs. good luck it bolts right in

The car I am taking the LS6 out of made 393 rwhp with very few mods. Will it loose that much hp in the truck with an auto?
