Default Electric Water Pump

Not sure where to post this so I decided to put it here. Moderators can put it where it belongs, thanks.

Is there anybody running a Meziere Electric water pump on a GM truck, '99-'06? How does it fit, what hose did you use?

Thanks

Chad

It's my daily driver. I got a Meziere ELWP that came off of my '02 Camaro that I would like to use.

Thanks

Meziere sells the attachments to make all the stock hoses fit.

Actually they don't, just got off the phone with Meziere and he said they do not have any fittings for it.

Also said he would not recommend an ELWP for a truck if I were to do ANY trailering or hauling with the truck. He said the ELWP probably would not keep up with the coolant demands of elevated temperatures.

Not sure which pump you have but I have the street higher output version on my 2500hd and love it one of my favorite bolt ons for sure. I've had it for about 5yrs and maybe 25k miles and it works great.

I have the LSX HIGH FLOW, STREET PUMP on the Camaro. I wanted to put it on my truck but like I said, Meziere did not recommend it. The pump has worked flawlessly on my '02 Camaro with no issues what so ever. The car has seen it's share of hot temps at the track and the pump kept temp's in check!
