Default 4.8 overkill exhaust questions

I'm building a cammed supercharged engine for my 93 ecsb. I have many projects that I'm doing to the truck and I'm thinking about just dropping in a 4.8/T56 that I have into it and driving it. The exhaust consists of schoenfeld headers, 3" true duals with an h pipe, magnaflo mufflers and then run out the corners of the bed.
What will i lose by having such a large exhaust? Would dropping the size of the pipes to 2.5" right after the headers and going back to 3" just before the h pipe be of any benefit?
I'm honestly not caring about performance, I just need the truck up until about this time next year.

theres a tuner in houston (chuck) that puts 4 in exhaust on stock motors a makes ~30 more hp. I think you will be fine at 3"

4" duals on a stock engine? That seems way overkill but I don't really know what overkill will effect.

If it has a supercharger on it............exhaust away to your hearts content.

In other words, with a blower, the bigger the better. All the scavenging bullshit goes out the window when your forcing **** down its throat.

Just my opinion.

Supercharged is the reason for the 3" duals but I'm thinking about just dropping in a naturally aspirated 4.8 due to my dd taking a dump on me. It will be run for about a year until the supercharged engine swap.
