I just think it's a little ridiculous to be thinking you can get a 2500 for the price of a 1500. Of course the 2500 will cost more, you're getting more truck.

Not always... Use to have a fleet of 2500 for work and not a single one cost more than $1-2k over the 1500. We went with 2500 just because you never could find a 1500 with the right power train always the smaller motor would it be a 5.0 or 4.8...

I was in your position for a month and a half. Loved the Tundra powertrain but the interior just looks so cheap and feels cheap. I looked at a Pro4x Titan (owned and 04) and like the interior better than the Tundra and driving both the powertrain are pretty close. I just wish the Titan was a 6spd b/c the 04 I had didn't do great on mileage.

I drove a 1500 and 2500 GMC and loved them both. They had better interior by far than the Tundra, power was pretty close with the 6.0, and it just felt like a better built truck.I wanted the 6.0 engine so I looked into a VMax and even though the price was right in line with the japs I decided against getting another payment and just bought a used 2500.

BTW I wouldn't settle for anything than less than $10k off any new truck right now. All the offers I got were atleast $9k off sticker and these were with few options (and not cash deals). The Titan has over 400 days of stock last I heard and they are wanting to deal pretty hard. If nothing else come down south to make a deal. The incentives down here may be higher and they are looking to clear their truck populated lots.

Black with grey int...I haven't done the blower...I'm still in awe of only needing 87 octane! Its the only one of my rides besides my ATV's that takes regular. I really like that it starts when I ask, runs when I need, and I can ignore all the guages and drop it off to get fixed GRATIS if it needs so much as an oil change!
