Just installed Holley Hi-Ram
hey guys, well as the title says, i just installed my holley hi ram on the 4.8 (turbo), along with a Nick willams 102 DBW. Along with theese, went the holley rails, 8an feed line, (stock line as return), fuelab regulator, & all those connectors and what not.
for any of you out there thinking of installing this, READ ON..
Issues / Problems encountered:
1. TB sticks out to far, 90 bends are almost impossible to fit.
2. in mi case, crossover line in front of rails, one bend hits alternator, and we had to lift alt. on one side.
3. Intake is machined to bolt in rails for LS1 (long) and LS3 (short) injectors,.. NOT LS2 (nnbs, mid lenght injectors), had to take it to a machine shop.
4. MAP location is now at the rear, and this uses an LS3/LS9 style map
The good:
Up to now, it looks AWESOME, i cant say anything about performance yet, but i will let you guys know.
P.D. ... YESSS, i know that coupler neeeds to be changed and it will soon. so dont give me a lecture on why i need to change it. haha...
Questions, comments and suggestions.. are ALL welcome

I will make a diagram in paint or something so you can see how it was made..
Basically, 8an bulhead fitting, 8an line to 10 micron filter, 8an line to rear of passenger rail, 6an crossover in front , 6an from rear of drivers rail to Fuelab regulator, and a push-on 6an fitting from FPR to stock line, which is now return.
I am running stock pump, and an additional walbro 255 (4psi hobbs) in the bucket.
Yep, the sad thing is i live in mexico, and this is the only pipe i could find, and in my city, no one bends 3.5" tubing.. 3" maximum. So im already looking around to see what i will do..
BTW Rick, you got pm
