Angry I got beat by a civic!!!

well i got some good inspiration like 10min ago, i saw a riced out civic on the road and i decided to follow it. It was an older bubble with NO interior haha, just a seat. the kid also had an exhaust from what i saw. I gave him a signal behind him while on a on ramp for a high way. I had tow/haul mode on and was in first doing about 25mph, he pulled slowly and slowed down to 40. this forced me to go into 2nd which is no *****. I hear him finally pull for real and i had to shift down to first and work my way back up again. I started to gain on him as we approached 80. I wanted to do another pull from 50 so i can get high rpm in 2nd but he got off the exit. I was pissed that i lost to a ricer haha. i need to go faster. By the way im new here but have been on TYF.com for a long time. It was good but there not much into performance over there.

better add a stall converter to that list to work to that 350hp goal which im assuming is at the rear wheels not flywheel. For that 224/224 cam you will need at least id say a 3000 stall, 3200 might work better.

I really dont wanna add a stall but i will if i have too. I also use this truck to tow if it makes a difrence. I also saw that people are using z06 cams and stalls out of TBSS? Im kinda on a student budget haha

Yank TT2600 with a more mild cam would be better IMO. The Yank TT series converters are designed to keep towing in mind. Still might wanna put a bigger trans cooler on though

haha i have feeling this is going to be expensive. Is there any parts that can come from LS vehicles. I would be cheaper to get them from a car then brand new, am i right? haha i just guessing. Im gonna try to go to a dyno to get some base number to find where im standing and then work from there. I think ill be set with an intake exhaust and a BB tune. I think that would put me in the 330 range or so.

and a cam maybe, that 330RWHP is going to be a little harder to get than you might think...if your going to put a stall in I would advise you to go with a yank converter the TT series like jeteys5.3 said. The TB verter has a very thin clutch in it and will hold up for awhile but wont like beating on it at all and may come apart and ruin your trans.

Well im kinda unsure about that number but I was looking at the SLP performance pacs and they give you intake, exhaust and a diablo tuner. they say it gives you 330hp. Now wether that is true or not is the question. I just figured i make that same kit myself for cheaper.

real world 330rwhp is only achieved by using a mustang dyno, where there is a load present, most companies use dynojet's which are free-spinning and the numbers are inflated
