Anyone running a set of prc 5.3 stage 2.5 heads?
Was wanting to see what numbers they produce on a 5.3.
Are they worth the money?
They have large runners and was wonderin if it killed bottom-end really bad?
Give me some input peps!

 

a customer of mine got this heads on his old old truck tombstone and ran a best of 12.5@106 or something like that but they were the stage 1 so i guess the stage 2.5 should be better i dont remember how much he dynoed but ill ask him and ill post his numbers

 

I have them on my motor but I havent ran it yet,but if you go to ls1tech people say nothing but great things about them!

 

This is what Texas Speed has to say about them...

"ALL NEW UPDATED Precision Race Components 5.3L stage 2.5 CNC ported cylinder heads. Dyno results have shown up to 50rwhp gains with the addition of these cylinder heads"

 

Yea i read texas speeds description of them,wanted somebodys own opinion who has a set.
ls1 tech and gm high tec has great reviews and articles on them.
Most articles have these heads on a ls1.
Anyone have a set on a 5.3?How is the low end?
Only thing i am concern about is the 220cc runner , a bit large for the 5.3
