belltech, did it myself. would not recomend trying though. be very careful who you let do this. they could f- up your gate. i would not use the piece that beltech supplys to fill the hole. you need a it to be the same gauge metal. and need to very careful when welding. i've seen people heat there gate up to much and have to float it from one end to the other. good luck

mine was about 350 for work and paint, i used the sir michealse relocator, and i also wouldnt recommend using the filler plate they give you, the guy that did mine made his own , same gauge and got it the same contour as the tailgate, so you can hardly see any imperfections in the reflection, also be very careful when welding in the plate, too much heat will warp the galvonized metal!

I don't remember how much it was to get it done because I had lots of stuff painted at the same time. I used the Sir Michael's relocator. Be sure to shave the 4 holes left behind by the bed rail protector.

Thanks! I think?

AFAIK, they used the Sir Mike's filler panel. Mine was shaved about 4 years ago and stlil looks great! It's all in the prep work.

The tonneau is no longer in production, but it's a Lo Pro MPulse lid by ARE. Definitely the most asked question about my truck!
