Is the lq9 the higher output 6L? I was just wondering. IF not which is?

yes the LQ9 is the 6.0 HO 345hp used in the SS and the escalades not sure what else.

VHO and now just about every truck but the regular cab in '06.... It's called the Vortec Maxx.

VHO stands for (Vortec High Output)

They first put the LQ9 in the SS, Escalades, and Denali's(?). Then they started putting the LQ9 in the Chevy and GMC 1500 with the special performance option, B4V. They made very few of them in '04 and '05. All of them are sleepers in an extended cab. Some came with a badge on the side, "Vortec High Output." Thus the VHO.

From the information I got..... no. GM just can't figure out how to sell trucks can they??!!!!! How to compete with other truck makers????? Let's see.... Make a truck the market wants!!!!! Wouldn't that be sweet, a 345 hp scsb truck???? Provided to you by the idiots who keep that company in debt....
