GM is the only company stupid enough to make the best engine on the market and then not put it in anything.

god damn idiots.

Dodge and Ford both put their engines in 1/2 tons. Dodge cant find enought things to put the hemi in and is booming with sales from it. GM thinks its going to turn off escalade sales.

Good work. You do ONE thing well. You cant make a decent interior. Your styling for the most part sucks. your commericals are even worse. You lose $4,000,000,000 a year in sales, your "special edition" cars are stickers on normal cars (or at best an engine that should have been in there to begin with). Ford puts an IRS engine, different trans, engine and supercharger on a car. You change the hood. Ford makes an SHO, you put "intimdator" on the side. dodge puts the hemi in everything, I need to pay $60k to get an LQ9.

THE ONLY THING YOU DO WELL IS MAKE V8S. PUT THEM IN STUFF.

I believe we'll see quite a few changes at the end of the 06' model year.
GM is doing a total redesign on their 07' 1/2 ton Silverados. Inside & Outside. Not sure if the GMC's are going for the change at the same time.
Hope they do it right. Their reputation is at stake on this change over.
Then in 07' we may see some things we actually want. Like a SCSB SS truck and possibly the Camaro again.
We'll just have to wait and see. Hope for the best.
Maybe GM will actually listen to what thier buyers really would like.

The GMC's should change with the chevy's since they are made on the same line and I read about 6 months ago that the 07 camaro was canned again to put all their engineers and money torward getting out the new body SUV's early in order to help the money crisis. Sucks. I know of many people that would have a new camaro on order right now if they'd put the LS2 in it and do a little retro styling like some of the concept drawings that are floating around.

LS2 in an RCSB truck would be murder! GM couldn't do what buyers would like. That would make too much sense. Hmm... makes ya wonder why the competition seems to have a leg up.

HEMI in an RCSB Ram = $$$
Blue Oval tried sumthin, but not quite there.
GM? Hmm... 5.3 + RCSB = descent, but...
RCSB - 5.3 (unless beefed) + 6.0 + 4L65 (or 80) = better benjamins!

If GM followed our theory, they'd be better off. More of the 20 - 40 age group still yearn for MORE POWER! AGHH! AGHH! AGHH!

(Sorry about the Tim Taylor moment)

yea Im tired of being at the bottom of the food chain. If I werent so deep into my truck I would almost trade it for a rcsb hemi. Once the dodge boys work out a better tuning process the hemi will be one of the fastest trucks with minor bolt ons. I have been a GM man since I could drive but the look of the ram is hard to beat.

I said almost. lol I own 2 02 silvy's (my truck and the wifes truck) and an 84 s-10 v8 (another unfinshed project). My dad has a 97 silvy and mom has an 04 silvy, my brother has an 03 trailblaze and a 92 truck, and my sister has a 01 gmc. So I may get kicked out of the family if I buy anything else but a GM.
