whats up guys im from texas but im in virginia for work reasons, now the question

i know in some states you can get the silverado vho and some dealerships will order one for you. My buddy is looking for a rcsb with a 6.0 but the dealerships say there is no way you can get that, when they said that i felt like buying a vho in Texas and just bring it to his face. Now how can we get a dealeship to order one for him, they say its impossible and that they cant do it.

 

they are right. extended cab and crew cab yes. no rcsb with 6.0L. a VHO is an extended cab and can be bought in all 50 states.

 

06 has RCSB 6.0s I believe...

 

I remeber one of the members here posted pics of a rcsb vho, he even took pics of the window sticker the price was in the high 30's

 

I read that too, but when I checked the Chevy website I didn't find it available that way...I think it's the VortecMax package...

 

yeah i just read the gm media news and its available now but the guy at the dealer i guess he does not know about this i have to give him a print out then maybe he can help us.

 

the gm media news is incorrect in more than a few ways. if it were available, i'd have one.

 

aw **** he really wanted one soon for the employee discount i guess he will take one with the 5.3. we will go try another dealer and if we can't he will just get the 5.3. we're tired of running around. Thanks for the help.

I went to the local dealer and he said that in their info shows that the 6.0 is available in all cabs(Vortec Max RCSB). But it would not show up on the computer. I had him call the New England rep and he told me that the 6.0 in a regular cab would be available in a late model year 06.

Guess we'll have to wait and see
