I'm looking at getting one this winter. This was the first year with an LSx based engine correct? Which ones came with the 6.0?

How much can I expext to pay for a 1500 4x4 regular cab?

 

you wont find a 6.0 unless its in a 3/4ton truck... as for a price on a reg cab 4x4, it all depends on the year, model, trim level, etc... guess is around $13k for a 99 give or take depending on its shape.

 

No I don't need anything so heavy duty as a 3/4 ton. I guess I just want a basic 4x4 with rally wheels. If it has a 100k on the odometer I'm fine with that.

How common are manual trannys? It's gotta have the 5.3

well, you wont find a 5.3 with a manual, 4.8 maybe. theres one for sell here: 99 5spd 4x4 reg cab
