Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC) on Power Seats

I explained the mysterious "electrical problem" that I have with my driver's side seat. He played with the switch and then my seat was stuck at the closest distance to the steering wheel: now he was hooked into trying to get my seat adjusted properly. This mechanic was great and very helpful, but he was stunned due to the nature of my power seat problems. He said, If he didn't experience it he wouldn't believe me. According to this kind mechanic, I am experiencing a problem that generated a recall issue notification for GMC Sierra's, but for some reason my trim never received a recall notice. I think he tried to reset the codes a couple of times during his attempt to adjust my seat all the way back to where I can sit comfortably and drive. Read more »
