Tell the world a little bit about your vehicle
got it for a deal from a buddy, its been on the road for a while until I popped a valve on #5 cylinder. Now the disassemble begins!
Engine/Drivetrain Modifications:
sbc 350ci. double hump heads with heavy springs and roller rockers. Cam ??? pulls to 5800 RPM. Edelbrock performer intake and carb package. TH350 trans, built valve body, 2700 stall converter, ballooning plate. B&M Mega shifter.
Suspension Modifications:
2.5 drop springs up front, did have drop spindles but that was a little to much. 3 inch blocks and 2 leaves out back. The ride sucks but it wasn't all bad considering the price I payed for the whole truck.
Wheels/Tires Modifications:
17" Boyds. 8" wide up front, 10" out back, currently running 275/35/17 on the back and 225/40/17 up front.
Interior/Exterior Modifications:
set of blazer buckets, aftermarket head unit, speakers on the dash and the cab corners...just for a little bit of sound, probably no sub or anything in the future.
Future Modifications:
Putting the pieces together for a turbo set up on the 5.3 thats sitting on the cart. Finish building the quick change rear that I make at my work. weld in a back half, mount the full fiberglass front end. Figure out how to wire the 5.3 and get working gages...needs to be street legal within good taste! After I find out how the quick change rear works out ill post it for you cats, currently there is two drift racers running them with steel axle tubes and a few other things that differ from our normal sprint rear...so I'm thinking it'll do fine.
