1996 Sierra Stepside. Purchased for $270 bone stock with a blown head gasket at 202,000 miles. Started at 8o'clock on a Saturday morning and drive it to lunch at noon. 25,000 miles later and still running strong
Engine/Drivetrain Modifications:
CAI, "Vortec" air box deleted, ported MAF, 454 Throttle Body (halved shaft, throttle stop removed), electric fan (clutch fan removed), 4 core radiator, 170 thermo, 140 amp alternator, cats removed, dual Flowmaster 40s to Trans Am splitter tips
Suspension Modifications:
2" drop spindles, 2" drop shackles, overload removed, rear sway bar from '79 Trans Am WS6, Gabriel air shocks
Wheels/Tires Modifications:
'90 454SS wheels, BFG 275/60 rear 225/75 front
Interior/Exterior Modifications:
2" Cowl Hood
Future Modifications:
Drop hangers, modified 350 or 454 (whichever comes along first), interior swap (gray to tan), paint, one-piece driveshaft, tune, slap shifter, front and rear bumpers.
