Tell the world a little bit about your vehicle
2001 X-cab, GMC, 2 owners, bought with 15k in 03. Came with the stock 323.425 and the 4L60E. Trans finally went out at 185k. Truck looks better from underneath than up top. I have a 19 foot boat so I built the trans around pulling concept.

Engine/Drivetrain Modifications:
Nothing major at all.... YET. I did start with the torque converter and trans. 3500 stall, had trans beefed up, especially 3-4. seems to be the norm to go out. 500 boost, drilled shift plate, heavier springs, sunshell, etc. Drive shaft all new U joints AMERICAN MADE!! Center support bearing is a DS 6063. Seems to be a beefed up version compared to several I have thrown out. cold air intake, wait4me performance ECM, headers, flowmast turn down. Replaced front and rear main seals, and oil pan gaskets. Waterpump and gaskets.

Suspension Modifications:
Rear shackles 1" rear level drop. Replaced upper/lower control arm bushings along with several other bushings with Prothane. Replaced anything that had rubber in steering, upper lower ball joints, inner outer tie rod ends, sway bar links.

Wheels/Tires Modifications:
20'S Eagle GT's

Interior/Exterior Modifications:
Roll pan, hide-a-way tow hitch under license plate. Clarion 4 channel amp pushing 4 Big Bang Planet Audio 6x9's. 2 channel kicker pushing 2-10's. (Its enough). Built box to fit under rear bench. (to Cheap to buy one.) Installed DVD 3 screens, 1 front 2 rear, Dash gauge panel, Installed trans temp gauge. Under dash lights..........Under coated entire truck when changing trans. Roll Top bed cover

Future Modifications:
Hollie LS Modular Mid rise 300-126 intake manifold.
Cam: Trick Flow Specialties .575 lift, 220/224 duration split, 112-degree LSA Read more ยป
