I have a 1972 impala drag car. I originally got this car by trading a washer and dryer to a friend for it. It was also bought brand new 10 miles from my house.
Engine/Drivetrain Modifications:
It has a 4 bolt main 400 small block, 9.25:1 compression (not for long) stock bottom end that I just freshened up. I put a set of Brodix IK200 aluminum heads on it along with some hooker headers, holley contender intake, 670 holley, MSD street fire HEI, MSD 6A box, Lunati Vodoo 227/233 .489/504 cam, 1.5 ratio roller rockers and a nitrous express system 100-250hp settings. It has a th350 with a b&m 2500 holeshot stall and a shift kit. Rear end is freshly rebuilt with a Richmond 4.56 set of gears and a locker.
Suspension Modifications:
Drag shocks front and rear. Eliminated front sway bar. Running a rear sway bar though.
Wheels/Tires Modifications:
Centerline wheels with 295/50r15 tires in the back.
Interior/Exterior Modifications:
Racing buckets, 5 point harness' and a awesome set of fuzzy dice. Outside pretty stock minus the 6" velocity stack sticking out of the hood.
Future Modifications:
Repaint car, cowl hood, cage it, tub it, rebuild the motor with more compression, better pistons, rods, etc.
