I have been wanting a V8 swap S10 for years. After an injury I decided I wasn't up to building one so I bought one. Should be a fun toy!
Engine/Drivetrain Modifications:
5.3 Aluminum v8, (from a 2003 SSR LM4) with comp cam (about 40k miles when pulled) 99 Camaro intake manifold and throttle body,coated sanderson shorty headers.Built 4L60 automatic, Corvette apply servo, HD HI-PERF Band Extra Wide, HD Shift kit, HD Sun Shell, HD Accumulator pistons, and corvette torque converter.Ford 8.8 narrowed posi rear end 3.73 with disk brakes.
Suspension Modifications:
Lowered with Belltech coils/spindles in front and Belltech leaf springs in rear, Cal Trac traction bars
Wheels/Tires Modifications:
Tires are Goodyear g-Force Sport comp-2 224/50/ZR17 front and 255/45ZR17 rear on American Racing rims.
Future Modifications:
Power windows, minor stereo upgrade, window tint.
