This truck fits right in line with my Never Ending Story of Unfinished Projects...

with just about 300k on the odometer, the truck now retains close zero untainted, original parts. Being my second truck of this type, I knew exactly what direction I wanted to go with it. It didn't take long to realize the truck's stubborn mannerisms, so I characteristically named it 'Lemon'.. and it's lived up to the name ever since -Unfortunately for me... After countless hours, black fingernails and dozens of headaches, I can finally admit it runs and drives like a dream... and now, I can proudly say that it burns rubber just as easily as it burned holes in my pockets.

Engine/Drivetrain Modifications:
Iron Block LM7 Bored to 5.7L Ls1, Ls1 Pistons, port/polish 853's Milled to ~11:1 comp, Ls6/Z06 cam, Ls6 springs, Comp Cams Hardened Push Rods, Port/Polish TB, Ls6 intake manifold, Melling Hi-perf Lifters and High Vol/Pres Melling oil pump, LS2 timing chain, 185amp Alternator, LS1 e-fans, 34" HD Radiator, B&M Trans Cooler, Hayden PS cooler, Custom 4" intake w/ massive Airaid Filter, MSD 8.5mm Wires, removed EGR, Evap. and AIR, NGK tr-5's, Custom 3" Dual Exhaust w/ high flow cats, 4" Y-pipe split to a pair of 3" Dynomax race Bullets dumped before axle, rebuilt 4l60e with steels, boost valve etc., PI Vig 3200 Stall, Vette servo, Transgo HD2 shift Kit. Innovate LC-1 Wideband o2, HP Tuners MPVI Pro on board Tuning.

Suspension Modifications:
The Truck retains it's factory Coil Springs up front, with a 1/2 coil cut for an additional .75", Stock Leaf springs as well in the rear with all new Bushings... The suspension consists of 4.5" DJM LCA's, flipped stock upper CA's w/ Belltech offset bushings, Moog Ball Joints, HD inner and outer tie rods, drilled spindles w/ a DIY Tie rod Flip kit, 2nd replacement steering rack, and 3rd aftermarket PS pump(Dorman reman crap), Revised u-jointed Steering shaft assy, SS lines, DJM axle Flip Kit, DJM c-notch, notched bed support, rear shock extenders, Addco front & rear sway bars, Poly bushings on everything else, Slam Air helper bags behind axle, clamped OL Leaf, On board Air, DIY Cal-Tracs, 40lb iron plate welded in place of tow hitch(HUGE improvement in ride, handling & traction), DT Performance truck drop shocks all around.

Wheels/Tires Modifications:
Custom made Mc2 Forged Ride 22x9.5" & 22x10" Aluminum wheels --chrome stripped, removed rivets and Cadillac emblems, media blasted, sanded, body filled, and sanded some more, and then finally sprayed with a Liquid Silver base and a matte clear coat.
