Tell the world a little bit about your vehicle
This was my first V8 vehicle. I put a hell of a top end on the 145,000 mile stock bottom end and ended up throwing a rod after a prolonged period of time around double the stock redline.

Engine/Drivetrain Modifications:
It's had several iterations of Gen I small blocks, but now I'm jumping into the Gen III scene with a 2004 5.3L. Looking to add a cam and Holley Hi Ram intake and long tube headers with dual 3" open exhaust. The trans is a 4L80E with a B&M street/strip shift kit and TCI Truckmaster Saturday Night Special converter. stock NP241 transfer case. 4.10 gears. 14 bolt semi-floating rear. 9.25" front IFS axle. 26,000# B&M transmission cooler. Engine oil cooler. Homemade gooseneck hitch.

Suspension Modifications:
Adjusted front torsion bars. Rear Coil Helper Springs.

Wheels/Tires Modifications:
16x10 Forged Aluminum rims with 33x14.00-16 Super Swamper Boggers to play.
Stock 16" Aluminum wheels with 265/75R16 All Terrains for the road.

Interior/Exterior Modifications:
Engine oil and transmission temp gauges in A-pillar gauge pod. Trimmed front bumper and fenders for tire clearance.

Future Modifications:
After I get the LS motor running, I'm going to get an old 6.0L and stroke it. Then some AFR or Mast heads. Big Comp Cam. Ceramic Coated Headers. Holley Hi Ram intake with 102mm throttle body. Higher stall torque converter. Lockers for front and rear diffs. But my ideas are always evolving, so we'll see how things go. Read more ยป
