Tell the world a little bit about your vehicle
The truck has been in my family for years and used to be referred to as "The Big Truck". It's a base model standard cab long bed pickup that came with a 305ci, TH400, and NP203 transfer case stock.
Engine/Drivetrain Modifications:
Swapped from the 305ci to a 396ci by someone in the past but i wanted the 396ci for my Camaro so i yanked it and replaced it with a GM Performance long block 350ci that was supposed to be for a 96-00 Chevy 4X4 with a 4 bolt main.
Suspension Modifications:
Skyjacker 6" lift full spring kit with nitro shocks along with dual steering stabilizer kit from Skyjacker.
Wheels/Tires Modifications:
17" Pro Comp Alloys mat black with BF Goodrich 37" KM2 Mud Terrains
Interior/Exterior Modifications:
The body needs work and was primed years ago... Needs work lol! I also fabricated a 2-1 roll bar out of 1 3/4" steel tubing and a brush guard out of the same material.
Future Modifications:
Will be swapping the transmission out soon with a ZF6-650 and an Atlas transfer case. Then i will be working toward fixing the body work possibly a new bed and a new paint job. Then i will be working toward switching from a carbeurated fuel delivery system to a MAF metered fuel injection and then putting a single turbo on it running about 8PSI of boost.
