Description:
This is my 99 Silverado that I've had since it was new. The original color was Pewter over charcoal. It is a 2wd 1500 with 5.3L V8. I have had everything on this truck from nitrous to 16" rims and now have painted it flat black. I recently installed a Ground Force 3/5 drop and 22" x 10" chrome wheels. As far as the engine goes, I have approximately 230,000 miles on this truck, I've never been into the engine. For power adders, I have a cold air intake, 160* thermostat, electric fans, shorty headers, true dual exhaust with 40 series flowmasters and no catalyic converters turned down before the rear axle. I painted everything on this truck a few months ago, everything from the grille to the rear bumper. I will be installing a roll pan in the next few weeks. I'll have to paint the roll pan and I never painted the door jams so, I'm going to do that and probably put a couple of coats over the whole truck. Can't buff the scratches out of a flat paint.
