Just going on what ive read.....But a 255 will be borderline for me, i believe a 300-340 lph aeromtive/aem/DW would be the best route for me. If your refering to the hydramat, yes that may be an option. 1/2 tank, 1/4 tank either way Id like to avoid the issue if possible.

anyways, this quantam bucket assembly claims to be a "clean sheet design" and fix the issues. I would assume the sock is in the bucket and there are no holes for fuel to escape on accel?

I just did a quick google search to see if maybe somebody made a custom stainless bucket and these guys popped up. Seems like what i am looking for, although cant imagine anything quality for 150 bucks complete....
