Why a regular cab? A crew isn't much longer than an RCLB with a lot more interior room. I miss mine a lot. Never should've gotten rid of it.

Yea I've had a cpl reg cab long beds and ex cab short. After having the ex cab I won't go back to a regular. Kinda wish I had a crew cab now. Only thing I miss about the long bed is the bigger fuel tank.

I kind of just want it to be as short as possible. The smaller wheelbase is real nice for maneuvering, and I really don't need a ton of cab room. Just a decent truck that'll get good mileage (whatever is reasonable considering the emissions equipment) and still be a very capable ride.

Ill talk to him about it. And he may get rid of it just because he hardly ever drives it and it just sits and depreciates. He has 4 trucks including that one, so he definitely doesn't need it.

Almost exactly 2' difference for a lot more utility IMO. Been tons of times that Ive got a bunch of expensive crap in the bed of my truck and stop to eat or something and I have the interior room to store the stuff, or sleep with the rear seat folded down, and with the added weight up front it tows bumper pulls much better. Just my opinion after owning one and my buddy have an 06 rclb. The crewcab handle expansion joints and rough bumps better as well.
