Starting to collect parts for my build. Pretty much looking for the basics. Let me know what you have/if you know of a good deal.

243 heads
ls2 timing chain
ls7 lifters and trays

Some type of cam- Haven't decided yet. Lq4 in a NBS RCSB. NA for now, want something pretty big, nice lope. Its not a daily driver.

Springs- something to go along with the cam. Be nice to find a package deal
Pushrods- thinking I can run 7.4s with the 243 heads?

4l80e conveter- also, going to depend on the cam. Was thinking 3600 or bigger. 3.73 gears on 28-29" tires

Longtube headers- Going to pick up some Lpps if I dont find anything used.


Anything else, let me know. Just going to a nice NA 6.0 build..something to drive for fun on the weekends/ if I ever find a strip around me.

 

how soon do you need the heads?
I'll be removing my 799's (same as 243's) in a couple weeks if your interested

They've got about 35,000mi on them total, I had them off 4,000mi ago for my cam swap. I put in PAC 1518 springs, so those are still really new and I also did valve seals at the same time cause I figured why not do them anyways. never been shaved or anything.
I dont have the exact measurements or weights but what I would do is put them directly into the boxes that my PRC heads come in, so they'll ship safely
I did a rough guess thinking it'd be 20" X 12" X 12" and weigh 20lbs...it quoted almost $50 per head going across the border. I can get a final quote once mine show up and I can measure everything

ya let me know what you come up with. Im thinking I am going to need dual springs like the 1521s, but its worth a look. I could always sell the springs. Thank you sir.
