Line Lock wanted
#1
I'm looking for the old style line lock - the ones that you can press the button, then build the brake pressure. It acts as a one way check valve. Looking for 2. Have 3 on my various vehicles and want to stay the same on my new to me S10. What do you have? None of the new stuff (Jegs/Summit) is that way any more.

My TCI line lock is like that

I just used a different toggle switch from what they provided, and it's been working flawlessly ever since. Also, I reversed my line lock and installed it on the rear brakes. So that I can flip the switch, stand on the brakes(pedal controls fronts only now) and do my burnout. Then slowly let off the front brakes and roll out of it. Easier and more fun than pumping up the brakes and all, IMO

If it doesn't increase your rear brake pressure when you do your burnouts, it isn't what I'm looking for. That sounds like the newer style which only holds the pressure applied before hitting the switch. If you hit the switch before hitting the brake petal, the only way that it is helping you is by preventing line pressure from going to your rear brakes for your burnouts. Thanks for the feedback, but I'm still looking.....
