chase...what is your current converter stall speed....whats the new one gonna be?

ill know for sure if ill make it after this weekend.

 

its supposed to be yanks baddest converter but i think we underestimated my power output . behind 600-800 tq id say its a 3000-3200 behing 1000+ its a 3600-3800. so i went with the big dog circle d for wot locks . also got it a little lower stall should brake stall too 2800 along with oem 3.73 gears .

the nice thing is +last time i felt some spin but it felt like i was going stright not sideways with a one tire fire. the tru trac really helped.

i have to cut some of the thread off my straps because they hit my headers when tightened or get my coil over conversion done with adjustables.

this verter will be for sale soon . should also be free re stall it has less than 1k miles on it. will also have 4x4 oem 4.10's for sale too. along with two 8.6 g80's

 

How far in advance are the dates posted for these events? Pretty interested.

Doesn't look like I'll be running the truck at this one, my OP-tempo is just to high right now to get anything done other than work but I will definetly do my best to make the event....maybe I can help in some way!

 

not sure , still waiting on my converter . i also just ripped my interior apart yesterday and not sure if ill have it done by then . if i do it will be last minute. i need at least a full day when im done to get the gearz and verter in . does anyone know if a truck will run without any interior piece plugged in ? no a/c/radio/window controls/heated seats/air bag swith/ ? i h ave an extra cluster i can use but all the rest is out and i may try to move it and get the drivetrain done while the other stuff is out.

if not i will be there with my video cam's. you want to give the gp pro a shot pat? ive been having a ton of fun with it . who tunes your truck? i think you may want to work out a little scheme to see what it will run before you go all out and get the warn for going too fast. pm me lets see if you can knock out some 10.x pass's this next week.

 

I hope my 80 swap is done by then. I've never ran my truck at the track so i'm curious what it would do. Are there ever any more events in So-Cal?

 

ok so i know pat is on the list , anyone else running ? i may go out there and hang out and get some vid's .

my truck will be together but dont think ill run at fontana just yet. weather should be 70's and clear.

 

Dammit I'm not gonna make it. No use in running my truck with a without the 4l80e swap. how much is the admission just to spectate?

 

I am also signed up for tomorrow. Can I get you to take my nitrous bottle as I don't want to go through tech with it in the truck because I have not received the blow-off safety valve yet.
