Dam! It looks like a nice day, I wonder if the clouds are going to roll in and start raining?

 

I think I'm still going to show up. I'm having problems too with my tuning and my meth kit just showed up today. I'm think I'm going to just get a base run to see where I'm at. Just going to run stock tune and stock pulley.

 

So did anyone go?

That's exactly wht I thought yesterday. Looked good all day at work but was raining when I got ready to leave. Ah well.

 

LOL what did it run?

It was sprinkling here all afternoon so I was out.

 

I ended up going. They closed the track around 6:30 ish because of the weather. They didn't even start the racing. I got there about 4:30 and got 2 time trials in. Track condition was 55 degrees and 73 humidity. There was also a huge head wind and for my brick it wasn't too good. I weighed my truck today and with me in it and 1/3 tank of gas it came out to be 5750 lbs. My truck needs to go on a diet. This was also my first time at a track so I'm alright with the times. Both my lauches were in 2wd.

1st run:

2nd run:
I completely lost traction and got 15.772 sec @ 82.66 mph.

All in all it wasn't that bad for my first try, just cold and windy like hell. I was running stock tune with stock pulley on the whipple. My intake temps were reading in the 170s so hopefully the water/meth injection will help with that.

Grats on the run What did you dyno with your setup?

If the weather is nice I'll go next wed. I need to get data on where my stall is coming in at because I htink it's still not right and only stalling to like 2500rpm. Grrr!

 

I probably won't be ready til the end of the month. I waiting on my heads. That is my hold up right now. I also have to get the posi and gears installed , break-in time for new **** and of course a dyno tune. So I am hoping to be ready as soon as possible.
