I had a great time
trever1t had an exhaust gasket let loose.
I enjoyed talking with everyone great group of guys. The fastest truck was Dusty, I will let him tell you guys his times, but I will say he broke into the 11's.
Now on to the good stuff.
my first two runs were 13.47 @ 97.81 and 13.40 @ 97.96 one tenth faster than Texas but 3 MPH slower
than my next 5 runs were
Drum roll please
13.20 @ 101.3 60' of 1.95
Temp was 71* and had a pretty good head wind. Everyone that has been to that track and the one in Sac. that I usually go to says it is .2 slower than in sac. So in good weather and no wind I should be able to hit 12.9X
I did zero weight reduction. even kept my underseat storage container in place with some tools and had a can of Meth in the back
Not that I would ever do it but if I took out the back seat and spare, tailgate and everything else that other people take off I bet I could be close to 12.6x
Out of 200 plus vehicles I made it to the last eight in the bracket race. I got sand bagged by a camaro. His dial in time was 12.23 and as soon as he passed me right before the finish line he hit is brakes hard and did a 12.48 at 87.07 mph I was talking to the girl that gives out the time slips and she said he has been coming to that track for 20 years and has always done that. He qualifies for the pro stock but always races in the street brackets. She also said that his reaction time is always .002 to .004
but when he raced me I had my worst reaction time of the night @ .227 and his was .327, she said he new I had a bad start and just took it easy. I was doing .137 pretty much all night.
So in a couple of weeks I will go to my regular track which is faster and see if I can hit a 12.9
One more thing, My truck still kinda falls on its face in third gear. It pulls so hard in first and second. If it could pull half as hard in third I know I would be in the 12's

So you guys are all game to meet up @ sac in a few weeks? Let me get patched up and check the schedule for the track.
I'll star a new thread later.
I hate having to get up at 5 am after weds night drags!

Well, bad news. It seems that the young lady forgot to take the lens cap off while 50 minutes of sound was taped!
I took some at the end of the night but I dont know how it looks yet.
Glad you got some good pics Archie! Some bad *** trucks lined up there!
