I rolled into the pedal at Fontana last week and did the following on street tires.

60'........... 1.986
330'......... 5.627
1/8.......... 8.723
MPH......... 79.22
1000....... 11.424
1/4......... 13.729
MPH......... 97.51

That was at almost 3000 DA.

Practice, practice and practice.
my best "roll into it" 60' is usually 2.0-2.1. Ive never broke 2.0's. My last time out I ran a 14.2 in 3000+ DA.

That was not directed at you although I have not seen you at the track in some time now, lol. It was just a general statement for anyone who wants to put on the shoe if it fits.

I take it that was on street tires since you don't have any DR's. What size wheels tires are you running?

Get you some Nitto NT555R's as they come is 14 through 20" sizes and are pretty good for combined street/strip use.

I'm running 20''s right now. And ive looked into those. Its just about convincing the wife that I need them. lol.

The wife is all that stands in the way of a TRD S/C, Caltracs, DR's, and a REAL locking diff, not that sorry toyota ALSD. But nooo, she wants a house. lol.jk.

Seems like all the 5.7 toyota guys with my mods and the TRD S/C are lifted on big *** tires. what a waste.

It's been a while. It's just been hot or something comes up last minute. I really wanted a crack at that one dodge ram R/T that was there last year. We didnt get a chance to line up. He's on a dodge forum, but wont reply to my PM about the sept. 3 date which is the next time I'll be going. Hopefully it will be cooler.

My number hasn't changed in years. It is not an emergency so whenever you get a chance.

It's better to ask for forgiveness than to ask for permission.

What about the light Blue TRD with a SC. He ran 12.7 or something last time in Fontana. He is a member here but I can't remember his screen name right now.

That would be Franky (gutz). He went to Iraq for a few months (marines). He's back now but been kinda MIA on the forums. He's stationed in San Diego so he doesn't come up here much unless it's for the 1/4.
