the firebird is closed this weekend

 

I have never found any place to go when ever I go down to mesa or phoenix. it used to be a little better before but this weekend was just dead.

 

I just started going to Speedworld and it's much better than Firebird IMO. I'd be up for getting together sometime for a trip out to the track. Speedworld is not as busy, even on a weekend night. I was there on Saturday night for about 2 hours and got 5 runs, much better than 4 runs for 5 hours at Firebird. There are surprisingly few trucks on this board from Phoenix. I know a couple guys from Tucson, but most of the people I know from Phoenix are f-body guys from LS1Tech.

You got any pics of that truck?

 

These guys go street racing sometimes, if that's your thing try to hook up with them (you can log in and post over at LS1tech with your pt.net username and password FYI...). I may try to cruise with them some night, but I won't be racing.

I should really try to make it over there one of these nights so we can head out to speedworld, all i need is to hook up the injectors and then get some dough for the detriot true trac.
