Default Little help please....

Hey all,

I have a 99 Chevy Tahoe 2dr 4x4. I want to put a 6.0 in it. The problem I have been running into is finding local wrecking yards that have trucks new enough to have a 6.0 I can pull out of them. Does anyone know of some wrecking yards in the bay area or near the bay area that have newer model trucks you can pull from?

GM Sports Salvage in San Jose or Santa Clara Truck Wreckers. You can also check car-part.com. Most wrecking yards post their inventory there.

Good luck finding a pull it your self type of yard that has a 6.0 .

They pop up from time top time but are few and far between. That stuff is to valuable and usually ends up in premium yard. if it makes it out there it usually gets pulled out the same day or within a few days of being dropped.

Thanks for the info fellas. Sounds like it is going to be more of a challenge than I originally anticipated.
