I have a 2004 Silverado that I just got tuned yesterday. I put it in it ran really well, when I go and start it I notice that the engine symbol pops up. I go and scan it and its the P0315 I found out I need to do the crankshaft relearn. Does anyone locally have a tool that can do that procedure? Or know of a shop that does it for a reasonable price? Well I live in Stockton, Ca so please help.

Stockton is up here in Nor-Cal.
Any good mechanic should be able to do a crank relearn. If you want to drive down to Newark my tuner can take care of ya.
JPA is a few hundred miles south.

Well so far I havent been able to fine anyone but I'll keep looking I'd like to have it done by the weekend. Do you know of anyone closer than Synergy? I keep hearing its a simple thing to have done. Everyone I've asked say the upgrade is too expensive.

The upgrade, what is that? There's Newtech in Hatward and another shop which I forgot the name of damn it.
I would think any reputable garage could do the crank relearn with the tech 2....hmm

Oh well I've talked to a couple smaller shops who havent upgraded they say it costs 3,500 to do so. Well I'm gonna try a couple of places tomorrow. Oh do you know if this code can cause the truck to run different? Or if its holding it back?

any dealership should be able to do it for $25 or less, it takes about 4min to do and majority of that is just bringing the truck into the shop and opening the doors to plug in the scanner. Just make sure the dealer knows its not a full PCM flash, its just a crank relearn.

Well I called the dealer I'm not sure if they thought it was a full pcm flash or just a crank relearn they said $150 I was like holy ****. But my choices are starting to run out nobody else seems to know what the hell I'm talking about.
