Both you guys use Cal Trac set ups right? Really want to look into this. Not even worth running anymore. You guys hooked up so good. Was bad ***. That rumble bee i was racing had full slicks on and wasn't hooking as good as you guys.

Think something was wrong with the hemi though. She had intake, exhaust, headers, 4.10's, a cam and custom tuning. Even with slicks she couldnt get out of the 9's. And i was trapping 2-5 mph faster. Didnt seem right for what she had done to it.

Gonna look into some stickier tires and rims to put em on. Any suggestions? Smallest rim I can use is a 18" on my tundra. could use some help from some of you that know a thing or two about tires. 2.1 and 2.2 60' times aren't gonna cut it.

Eric does the same thing right? Wonder how much running in 4x4 hurts you in the 1/4 mile. Or can you switch back to 2x4 in the middle of a run.

I know Cal tracs makes a set up for us. Just need to know a good tire/rim set up. Being 2wd traction has always been an issue with this truck, but I always managed to find a way to get around it. Still I never got better than a 2.0 60'. Now I spin regardless. I know all that lost time is in my 60'. Be nice to just be able to romp on it on the last yellow.
