Block- Chevrolet Bowtie short deck,Bore 4.560
Heads-Chevrolet 1987 Bowtie (W) port casting #862
Intake 2.325 Ex.1.88 Intake Port-410 cc Flow-420 cfm @ .700 lift
Exhaust 325 @ .700 lift. All Cyl Head work and preparation done @ WCCH
Crankshaft- Cola 4.25 stroke
Rods-Manley 6.385
Pistons-JE
Compression-10.92 engine runs only on pump gas NO additives
Camshaft- Comp Roller??????? OK- 267 int 275 ex@ .050 .700 114
Intake manifold is A super Victor with Dominator sittin on top.
This engine has been around for A while it started life as A 509 when I first built it in 1989 then I wanted to know what 555 CI would feel like so in 1992 I bought A Cola crank. This engine combo is very reliable and sees lots of abuse and very little maintenance other than checking valve lash once in A while. Rex.......
