Racing sucked for all but I think we all had a great time meeting up, barbequing and watching pro-stockers bounce off the walls.
It was a great mid-summer day but a crappy winter day.
Everyone was running slower than normal. I only made 2 runs, one at the start of the day (12.77) and one right before they shut down at 5pm (12.77@106.25) cause the heat and all the wipeouts.
Nevada79 shot some video. I look forward to seeing it too. My last run was with 2004Denali in the other lane.

Hi Bill. Sorry I didn't hook up with you and the gang...I was there but brother got "the trots" so I got to run his Goat all day--altho like you said, things were so slow that I only got in 4 runs between 10:30-5:30!
That was me running against that 460 powered '64 Galaxie that blew his engine and lost it at the 1000'. I looked to the right lane to see where he planned to turn off for the return road, saw no one there so I looked in the rearview mirror just in time to see him cross my lane and nose into the wall...he wasn't but 30' behind me! Pretty close call...
And you're right, everyone was running slow yesterday, and IMO the track was poorly prepped for a $50 T&T. The burnout box had so much rubber layered up you couldn't get the tires hot...it just kept peeling off the old rubber.
You guys were still running strong...great seeing the trucks kicking a**. Just wish my "bus" was able to make it.

Sounds like it should have run better too, lol. I ran a black GTO on my first pass. A brunette was driving, she ran a 12.75 to my 12.77 and just inched by me (and I mean inched) at the trap.
Do you know her/her car? I've run against stock LS2's before, they usually run low 13's. There were quite a few modded ones there yesterday.
