I really hate it when the news says "here's the storm of the season" and it sprinkles all day, damn it!
I want torrential downpour, now!

I remember hitch-hiking home from work in Davie Fla. Cars just passed me by, one after the other. Started raining and in 15 minutes not a car was running, the roads were flooded almost ***** high. This isn't nothing, I want my money back!

 

its pouring here my entire back yard is flooding ( 1/2 acre ) i need to get some kind of drain system made pretty quick.

also saw a swift 18 wheeler get it front end taken off today . made a big diesel spill on the 15 .

the thing that sucks is this is kind of a warm storm and snow is only above 6k feet . sucks for the snow resorts i was hoping to take monday off to hit big bear.

 

I don't mind if the the rain stays @ a minimum....My house is about 2 miles from the river.I don't know if its a bad thing or good but,big earth movers have been working on that part of the levy for bout 2 months now


Im going to be pessimistic and say GOOD since the equipment is still parked there.

woohoo get to go work in this ish all week , hopefully i can find more work to do in the shop and stay dry. i just hope we arent hit with bad winds once this has passed. seems like every time it rains , its followed by santa ana's.
