I have a Leupold VX-II for now. going to eventually replace it and stick that on the mini.

this gun is not a truck gun. It will be cased to and from the stand, reason being is I am cheap, if I wanted one to get abused I would have bought a cheap kid for under $600 and built that. I can't justify the money I have tied up in it just to abuse it. I do know it is a tool after all. But I am a frugal person. I got the mini so my wife could use and abuse it, and I could do the same. It will be the go to hog gun, but I will uncase the AR when needed. Mainly while in the blind, that being said, I won't be scared to grab it by the sling and throw it over my shoulder as we ride along looking for those nasty bastards either.

my favorite thing about the larue mounts is that they hold zero. and larue's GREAT customer service.

Jared, my favorite thing about them is that they put money back into Texas for gun rights and etc.

But at this point and time, I can't afford their mounts. Hopefully the Burris PEPR is a good mount. If the bipod is garbage I will get the harris/larue bipod.

excellent, and imo the burris should hold up for what you are doing. the larue is good for holding zero and if you want to throw your rifle 10 feet away, pick it up, and shoot moa groups, which i highly doubt you will be doing as stated

LOL, no, I would prefer not to. Plus, I am actually highly considering one more HUGE mod to this gun...something that comes with paper.

the funny thing is, suppressors are a waste of time to use while hunting, as animals sense's of hearing is way better than ours although it would be a very fun addition.
