Mossberg 930 SPX.
This is my first semi-auto shotgun. I've wanted one for years but was always put off by the price and the fact most autos won't cycle bird shot reliably. When Mossberg brought out the 930 SPX I was very interested because of the reasonable price and reported reliability with bird shot.
I shot it for the first time today and love it so far. I put 50 rounds rounds of low brass #8 bird shot through it and it was 100% reliable. I had planned to zero it with slugs and put some buckshot through it, but I wasn't able to get my hands on any locally so I just used up the bird shot I had laying around. Before shooting it I cleaned it with alcohol and put a light coat of FP10 on all the metal moving parts. Recoil is very mild, which is always nice.

I had a Remington 1187 i think it was.
All composite stock and 20in barrel. I miss the hell out of that shotgun. I never put the plug in it and we would go to the range and load up 4clays and I could hit em all before they touched the ground.
Congrats on the purchase!
