one of the best scopes for the money are the simmons whiettail classics. they usually run $109. 6.5-20x50. alot of use use them down here, my gunsmith thinks they are one the best "inexpensive", not cheap, scope. I have 3 of them. the AO helps alot.

i have a nikon 4-12x50 on my 270 that i love, also picked up a tasco 4-16x46 tasco world class mil-dot to go on my savage 22 mag i got for christmas and its proving to be pretty awesome
