As much as i dont like the glocks i want one just to run it suppressed.. the 1911 family is extremely picky on the extra weight at the end of the barrel.

Ive already got a SA 1911 but really would be nice to have the 16rds of 45 vs 9rds in the 1911.

Pretty much just plan on using it for night time excursions with the Night vision

My friend just picked up a .40S&W Glock at Academy Sporting Goods last week. He had asked the manager when the next shipment was coming in, then showed up before they opened that morning and was the first one in the store.

academy is about 10 miles north of where i work and i live 30 miles south of work..
Its not easy getting up to Academy at 5 oclock rush hour traffic haha.

I found company that has them instock for $582, people are trying to sell theirs used for $600+..
My cost on them is $480 but none of our folks have them instock.

Whats so bad about the gen 4s? Theyre dang near like the XDms with the changeable backstraps.

A early recoil spring problem and an unpopular grip finish has plagued their reputation despite numerous reports the problems have all been solved. I can't say I have any trigger time on a Gen4 myself though.

Every time i own a Glock it seems to be a Gen3 a friend wants to flip and then I sell it a few months later because I find something else I want more, only to wish I had an ugly gun I won't feel bad abusing.
