What made you decide on the Midwest rail? After reading all those links you posted that barrel sounds pretty dang good. It's a toss up for my next build of a 20" barrel from this guys on a seekins receiver set or a 458 socom build.
What triggers do you use? I installed the gieselle SSA-E trigger in my PSA gun and its awesome. No more creep and a smooth break. Think I'm going to leave it in there and buy a match trigge for the 300.

I bought it due to weight, looks, length, and price. I wanted 15", and no one had the Seekins BAR at the time I wanted a rail. I found a good deal and pulled the trigger. Not my first choice, but many suggested them, so I ran with it.
I currently have the Spike's Battle Trigger. I may upgrade for my next build, or send it off to Bill Springfield. I like the skeleton style triggers. But the cost turns me off.

true, but I'd rather just pay for the work than buy a dremel at this point. I really could use a dremel, but I have rare occasions when I need one. You're really paying for the convenience and skill.

You can do your own trigger work with a set screw and springs.. its very easy..turns the crappy .gov trigger into a decent one. but no match trigger.
I run Jards in mine and they are still working just fine after quite a few rounds.
had a primer blow out and get hung up on the sear of the hammer.. it chipped the corner off when i started beating on the gun with a hammer to get it apart. Still rocking.

the 3# is bout as light as i wanna go on the truck rifle.. its heavy enough to keep it safe,, but light enough i never think about pulling the trigger. cross hairs get on target and the gun goes off.. its pretty weird.
use to be take a breath and keep pulling on the trigger till it went offf.. that didnt last long. had a jard in it in no time.
my mind is blank right now but the upgraded trigger/Hammer pins with holders? Those are quite handy.. ive broken about 4 trigger pins over the years. they break right in the center where the detent notch is.. Keep the new ones oiled up and slick, very nice.
