Does anyone do tuning on these. can tuning be done. do they use a chip. Any info appeciated

Depends on what PCM is in those, but if it has the same computer as the mustangs then HP tuners may be able to tune it.

 

ok i think it has the computer mounted on the driver fender. i will have to check.

 

I can't see why it would be any different than the rest. HPT should be able to do it so that would be Wheatley I think. Can't remember if he uses HPT or EFI

Traditionally all Ford Police Interceptors have been Crown Vics.

 

You can tune this car with our U7147 Predator. Gives you 87/91/93 octane tunes and allows you to datalog the PCM, and read or clear trouble codes.

You can also modify the tunes to your liking, so if your want to make it say, shift higher, or change from high to low octane tuning, there is no need to send your PCM out or hunt down a tuner to have it reflashed.

Of course, the Predator also supports custom tuning from our CMR dealers.
