Will gauges work without computer

Default Will gauges work without computer

im swapping my 02 silverado over to a blow through carb and using the little black box for the trans and using the msd box for the ignition. I wont need my computer but will my gauges work without the computer or would it be best i just buy some auto meter guages and use them

I dont believe they will work. Without the computer, there will be no reference power supplied to the sensors. I would just use mechanical gauges.

They won't work without the PCM and BCM.

ok thanks for the info i will just go with auto meter gauges and wire them up and make a gauge cluster to replace the factory one
