Hey guys, this looks like a pretty easy install, but just a few questions. How do you hook up those resistor things? I've never used one before. Just twist them onto the exposed wire? Leave them exposed or is it ok to tape over them? Any other things that I might get hung up on? Thanks for the help.

I didn't use the capacitors. The only thing I had a problem with what making sure the connector for the gauge was plugged in all the way. I thought the gauge was broke but it just turned out that I didn't have the plug pushed in all the way.

I did not use the capacitors either. I think you only need them when you are using the wideband for a stand alone computer set-up or when using data loggers.

I had no problems with my PLX wideband. I thought it was quite easy to install. I do wish that the wires disconnected from the rear of the gauge though. It would be a little easier to run the wires IMO.

I was looking at this also, the DM-100 + SM-AFR
Universal Digital Display Module and Air/Fuel Sensor Module Combo, I'm not that up on wideband gauge, do you guys like your setup, and would like to see pic install

I don't have the DM-100 just the basic gauge, but I like mine installed in the overhead storage with no problems. I got the insert from Dakota Digital.

you only need the capacitors if you are daisy chaining 2 of the modules together
